What to do over my friends lover?

My friends lover no one likes even her sons, he has cheated on her, hit her when drunk and she has taken him back twice... he still in contact with woman he was with while they are apart. He believes she owes him because he has helped her in her business and around house. He gambles and then blames her for his loses... everyone tells her he is using her and she deserves better but she is in love with him she thinks. When they are together they seem happy when no one else is in the picture but she fees she cant trust him with this other woman as a friend. He requests a head job but she doesnt want to do it since then it has fallen apart. He complains when they dont have sex enough but he is unable to perform anyway. The other woman gives him sex all he wants but is not good looking so he says.

What can you say about this girl? She was good friend, she got to know that I have feelings for her. I told her that I like her. But now she does not respond to me. Why does not say anything? Even a single word NO or SORRY is enough for me. She does not even what to discuss anything. Why are girls like this? I am a decent guy, cant she tell me I she does not like me or her choice is different.
Guys she is just plain ignoring me. Showing that she does not care. She continues her life as usual. And she does not mind if I assume wrong facts, like she let me assume that she is in a different city.
